Adding a target for a KPI

Motileo's Targets section is in beta, so its wording and options can change.

1. Open the Targets page

Click Targets in the sidebar, under Compete.

Targets, marked on the screen

2. Open the add target form

Click Add target to open the Add a target dialog.

3. Open the KPI list

Click Pick a metric or activity type. The list opens with Data Sources and Metrics.

4. Choose a KPI to target

Select the KPI you want from the list. If that KPI already has a target, Motileo says so and offers Open its planner instead of adding a second target for it.

5. Reopen the KPI list

Click the KPI field to reopen the list and choose another KPI.

6. Choose the data source

Select # of Deals from the Data Sources list. The dialog shows Ready to add, and Add target becomes clickable.

7. Create the target

Click Add target. Motileo creates the target and opens Set everyone's number, where you give every individual a number.

8. Set the individual number

In Every individual's number, enter the number each person should hit, for example 50. Motileo rolls that number up across the organisation.

9. Apply the number

Click Set number. The number is applied to each person on the target, and the Target updated message keeps an Undo you can use if it is wrong.

10. Return to the KPI list

Click Back to Targets. The KPI you added now appears in the list of KPIs with targets.
